Morocco - Climate and Weather

Morocco has a moderate, subtropical climate which varies greatly depending on the location, weather and altitude. With such a varied terrain you can be experiencing 21ºC in Marrakech then travel up the mountains to the ski resort and be almost freezing.
The coastlines of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean provide cooling sea breezes in the hot summers, and experience mild winters. In Morocco the interior the weather temperatures are a lot hotter, topping 38ºC in the height of summer in Marrakech, with temperatures dropping below 10º only briefly at night during the winter months.

Morocco enjoys over 330 days of sunshine a year, with the best time to visit in the spring through to the winter.
